This costume was influenced by a modern day artist and an earlier period of time in history which I used to complement one another to create a piece which was inspired by Lana Del Ray & the 1920's. As women were given the right to vote in the 1920’s in America I wanted to create a masculine silhouette with feminine features in colour and decoration to create a sense of equality between men and women in this piece
